1. Who we are

Digitaleyezz is the data controller for the personal data collected through the DigitalEyezz toolkit. This means we decide how and why your personal data is processed when you use our tools for artists.

2. What we collect and why

  • Account data — name, email address, and login credentials, used to create and secure your account (legal basis: contract performance).
  • Content you create — artwork details, images, catalog and document content you enter, used to provide the tools and generate your exports (legal basis: contract performance).
  • Usage and telemetry — pages visited, feature usage, device and browser identifiers, and IP address, used for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement (legal basis: legitimate interests).
  • Support messages — anything you send us when asking for help, used to respond to you (legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests).
  • Marketing — with your consent, we may send product updates; you can withdraw consent anytime (legal basis: consent).

Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — we never see or store your card details.

3. Who we share data with

  • Service providers — hosting, database, analytics, and support tooling providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Paddle (Merchant of Record) — for the sale of our products, subscription management, payment processing, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
  • Authorities — where required by law.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the UK/EEA, you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority; we respond to requests within one month. To exercise any right, contact us through the channels on our About page.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and strict access controls.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for sign-in and security, and a small number of analytics cookies to understand how the tools are used. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in.
