Ole Miss honors James Meredith 60 years after integration

At the Ole Miss-Kentucky football game on Saturday, Meredith was given a framed jersey bearing the number 62.

He claims that his struggle to attend Ole Miss was an effort on his part to defeat white supremacy.

Robert Kennedy and Barnett discreetly came to a deal that would let Meredith enroll in the oldest public university in Mississippi.
